Pre-Order: Malva Quartet - Circle & The Void (CD)

Form is emptiness, emptiness is form.Sound is silence, silence is sound. The void inside a circle is not made of 'nothing'; it's a manifestation of the circle. ?And the circle itself is a manifestation of that void. The Japanese tradition of drawing an enso circle is one way of explaining the famous words from the Buddhist Heart Sutra: 'Form is emptiness, emptiness is form.'This music is trying to do the same thing.'The Circle' and 'The Void' are two pieces for string quartet. ?They can be played together (in any order) or separately.
