DAILY WORKER is the alter ego of celebrated poet and guitarist Harold Whit Williams. The renowned musician from Austin, Texas has been a member of the indie rock and jangle pop institution COTTON MATHER, award-winning poet and author of several books.

The 10 tracks here crackle and hiss with overdriven tape noise and harrumph with the grump of old man lyrics. Mixing influences of early Costello (and other pub rockers) with Fripp-esque fretboard wizardry, Williams outdoes himself this time around providing throwback nineties power pop hooks and mopey lo-fi vibes.
