TRILLROY is the adventurous new LP from Ben Buck on Freshmoon Records, a wild ride of party-starting samples, breaks and unique chops.

Ben Buck has been an omnipresent sight in the music scene of Austin, Texas. As a multi-versed beatboxer, Ben has performed with artists like Ghostface Killah, Tommy Wright III, Bushwick Bill of the Geto Boys, and Aceyalone. In 2023, the City of Austin even declared a “Ben Buck Day”, recognized annually on April 13th.

Along with a cameo by Freshmoon head MoonDoctoR, TRILLROY is Ben Buck’s 13-track homage to Ben’s childhood graffiti inspiration Kilroy, and his first journey into producing electronic music outside of traditional hip hop.

TRILLROY also showcases his influences in faster styles of music, as Ben explains:

“I was first introduced to juke and footwork in 2019 when I was on tour in Denver... I linked with Illadope [from the group] Clear Soul Forces. He took me to a Denver Juke event... and the music blew me away. There were all kinds of crazy blends happening. I was already a big fan of jungle and dnb but juke took my favorite elements from Hip Hop and Jungle and seemed to blend it together seamlessly in my eyes”.

TRILLROY is a refreshing and diverse blend of hip hop, turntablism, juke, footwork, and Jungle in an album that can only be right as a Freshmoon Records release.
