Gospel According to Shinyribs: The tale of how Kevin Russell transitioned from his band of 20 years, Austin icons the Gourds, to his current horn-laden, funked-up, Gulf-Coast-greasy Shinyribs project is one of faith, perseverance, creative vision and inclusion. After a half decade of flying mostly under the radar, Russel and crew tapped fully into the mainstream Texas music world in 2014 and, in doing so, have become one of the most in-demand acts in the region.
Viva Big Bend
