Tracks 1-8 recorded and mixed at Reaction Studios, april 1990 Track C1 to D3 recorded and mixed at The Pete Hudson Studio "The Release" "The Release" stared out as a werewolf Mr. Hyde (duality) theme, but after reading Ray Garton's "Monsters" and Thomas Tessier's "Nightwalker" part of my own sexual awareness came out. These lyrics came from my libido and not my brain, that is why some lyrics were not printed. I guess there really is a dark side in All of us. "Punishments" These songs were leftover from "The Release". They were written just after that recording and have been in our live set list for the last few months. The four new songs vary in topic but carry a common distasteful theme. The song "Punishments" is based on Ray Garton's short story of the same name. A different mix of this song can be found on the "Raw Meat #2" CD. The song "Woodwitch" was based on Stephen Gregory's novel of the same name. "The Mirror" and "Distaste" are the direct result of incidents witnessed at our live shows. I am not in any position to judge, but this is my attempt to bring awareness to these situations. This version of "Release" is not new but the same as the one we recorded on a demo before "The Release". It has also been on occasion part of our live set. The reason we re-recorded it, is because we played it faster for the live shows and forgot to slow it down when recording "The Release". This EP should give an idea what we sound like live. Enjoy".
