This is one of the first US releases. It came in a longbox which mentions 'Printed in the U.S.A.' Unlike the later edition [r=432345 whose disc and inserts were made and printed in the U.S.A., this edition's disc says 'Made in Japan', and the tray inlay says 'Printed in Japan'. A very similar edition comes with a disc that adds the text 'Manufactured By Victor Company Of Japan, Ltd'.

The master index on the back cover is inaccurate; the actual tracks are shown here. The CD mix differs from the LP in the following ways: "Well…" is not listed as a track; "Two Tribes" is the 'Annihilation' 12" mix instead of the 3:22 'for the victims of ravishment' LP version; the B-sides "The Last Voice" and "Happy Hi" are added; and several recordings are omitted: the songs "Ferry (Go)" and "San Jose", the orgasm discussion at the end of "Two Tribes", and the "life goes on day after day…" vocal overdub on "Snatch Of Fury (Stay)".
